When I am not helping people, I am hanging out with one or more of my seven furry, four-legged babies, doing pet therapy, visiting one of my grown-up children, or enjoying the sparkling waters of the Atlantic Ocean! I enjoy long beach walks, hikes in the woods and snowy days curled up in front of a roaring fireplace with a good book and classical music playing in the background… (yes, I’m a northerner at heart!).
At this point in my life, I’ve either seen it, heard it, done it, witnessed it, experienced it or lived it. I am not here to judge you, only to listen, to clarify and to walk with you on your journey. I would feel honored if you allowed me to join you.
I am a Nationally Certified Counselor and work under supervision on attaining my Florida license. I very much enjoy staying current in the world of mental health so I work hard at continuing my education through seminars, workshops and volunteering. I am certified in a number of areas including Domestic Abuse and the Guardian ad Litem Program. I am currently training to become EMDR certified by the end of 2018.
